What to expect in your search for a veterinary facility. We believe you should expect high-quality care as well as great service from our team at Coastal Animal Clinic. Your pet’s annual vet check-up will include a total physical exam from head to tail. We aim to ensure there is a full understanding of all services performed and treatment plan recommendations for your pet. 

We evaluate your pet’s oral and dental health during the physical exam as well. Like you, we recommend regular professional dental care for our pets. Your pet can lose teeth due to decay and neglect. Annual dental cleanings by your veterinarian are recommended to maintain proper dental hygiene. 

There are times where your pet may require surgery for an elective or non-elective procedure. Our team at Coastal Animal Clinic is well prepared to be there for your pet. Because of the general risks inherent to anesthesia, especially for very old, very young or very ill pets, your veterinarian will likely suggest lab work of blood and urine, before your pet is anesthetized. We provide full anesthetic monitoring and IV support delivered by our experienced veterinary team for the safety of your pet.  

There may be times where one of our veterinarians may refer you to a specialist, veterinarians who have completed advanced studies in specialties such as internal medicine, surgery, and emergency care, if your pet must undergo a procedure that requires more precise knowledge and experience.
